Our Early Childhood classes had their own Thanksgiving Day parade last week. They worked hard on creating their balloons and then paraded around their playground for some of our elementary classes. It was adorable!
First grade did an exhibit about animal defenses. Kindergarteners and 2nd graders came in to hear about our defense models!
3rd grade is learning about inheritance and traits. They made creatures based on the parent's genes!
Our band and orchestras have been working hard to prepare for their first concert of the year. We hope you can join us to support these young musicians on Monday, December 9th - performances at 8:30 am and 6 pm.
Through the generous support of our community, we have been able to provide 40,000 brand-new fleece blankets to children and families in need across the Sioux Empire and beyond. This initiative relies entirely on the kindness of others to make it possible, and we are so grateful for every bit of help we receive.
As we approach the holidays, we’ve received a request for over 1,300 blankets to be delivered to schools in the Sioux Falls School District the week of December 16th. We are urgently seeking donations of fleece fabric, funds, and/or completed blankets to help meet this need.
The outpouring of support from our community has been incredible, and we truly believe that together, we can make a difference for so many this season.
