2nd graders read Turkey Trouble in library. They worked with their 5th grade buddies to disguise a Turkey and write about why that disguise would keep the turkey safe!
Attention LBA Family! Starting this year, we aim to reward your active involvement! Whenever there's a call for your participation, seize the chance to win exciting rewards! This includes but is not limited to, participation in conferences, musical productions, Individual Education Plan (IEP) Meetings, completing requested Sioux Falls School District forms (Free and Reduced Meal Applications, IEP Questionnaire, etc.), volunteering in the classroom, and attending school-sponsored activities.
In the recent month, during conferences, participants had the opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win a one-night stay at the Ramada Hotel and Water Park, along with a pizza! Kudos to Crystal Gonzalez and Deysi Rodriguez for winning this fantastic opportunity! Stay tuned for upcoming chances to win prizes. Offerings will vary!

ART SHOW
The WHS Art department is hosting an Art Show on November 14! This Art show will highlight works from WHS, Ben Reifel, Laura B. Anderson, John Harris, and Rosa Parks. The show will be in the commons from 5:30 - 7:00pm. This is a great opportunity to showcase artwork from schools that feed into Washington High School as well as WHS Artwork. This is a free event.
Emails have been sent to 33 LBA families of the artists who were chosen.
