Congratulations to Staff All-Star Caitlyn Baker!
Caitlyn Baker is the Tier II Teacher at Laura B. Anderson Elementary. Not satisfied with simply providing interventions as the needs come to her, she has been going into every single classroom weekly to educate ALL students on interactions, behaviors, relationships, respect, and finding success. Her non-stop support of students and staff throughout the building is infectious, and her impact stretches far beyond her job title because of it. Find out how she honors others, builds community, and goes above and beyond, hourly, to make students successful.

The Dental Mobile is coming to LBA the week of January 13-17.
Nearly 1 in 4 South Dakota children has untreated tooth decay. It is the #1 chronic disease of childhood, but nearly 100% of cavities can be prevented. A toothache can make it hard for a child to eat, sleep and pay attention at school. Untreated tooth decay can cause pain bad enough to miss school or even visit the emergency room.
If your child has not seen an area dentist for two years this is a great way to give your child a healthy smile. There is no cost to the child or family. No insurance is necessary. A full range of dental services are offered, including exams, cleanings, preventive treatments, and cavity fillings.
Please contact the school to let us know if you are interested in your child getting dental care from the Delta Dental Mobile and we will get you the additional paperwork needed. Limited spots are available.
For more information contact the office at Laura B Anderson Elementary: 605-367-6130.
Next week, December 16-20, we will have some special dress up days at LBA.
Mark your calendars to join us next Wednesday, December 18 for our Mindfulness Morning - 7:30- 8 in our Library.
